Loyola Industrial Training Institute was established in the year 1949 by Later Fr. Loesch SJ and it was a registered society under the societies registration act XXI or 1860 No. 4. of 1945 – 50. It was run by the Society of Jesus for a long time facing many a adverse situation to Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel - a registered Society under the same Act. XXI of 1960 through its then president Rev. Bro. Anthony Francisco Sg. to mange and administer the Institute.
Loyola Industrial Training Institute has grown through the ages and now we undertake all kinds of fabrication work along with training in Mechanic, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Machinist, Electrician and Fitter. These courses are recognized since 1982 by Directorate General of Employment & Training ( D.G.E. & T.) and students appear for the National council For Vocational Training (N.C.V.T.) test, which is conducted by the D.G.E. & T.
The Brothers of St. Gabriel are3 a part of worldwide Montfortian family founded by St. Louis marie de Montfort in france in the early years of the 18th century. We became an autonomous society in 1842. Ever since, we have been pioneers in the field of General education, Vocational training and the Education of Physically Challenged. Today, the Brothers of St. Gabriel are rendering Yeomen services in 31 countries of the world. The Brothers arrived in India in 1903, Ever since there was no looking back from its goal. The vision of creating a just and Fraternal Society, it has grown and spread in different parts of the country. Now there are six Provinces Yercaud, trichy, Hydrabad, Pune, Delhi, Ranchi and North East managing 159 institutions, addressing the educational needs and providing Vocational Training, Education of the Physically Handicaped, fighting for the rights and development of tribals and social groups. In the quest to create just and Fraternal society we are guided by Montfort’s Motto;
